Hire Terms & Conditions
- General Conditions
- All equipment and goods remain the property of D’Vine Events at all times.
- Hire items are provided for the agreed hire period only. Additional time will be charged at an hourly rate, agreed prior to your event.
- Booking & Payments
- A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days before your event.
- Bookings made within 7 days of the event must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Quotes are valid for 7 working days. If the deposit is not received within this period, a new quote may apply.
- Cancellations
- You may cancel your booking within 7 days of confirmation and receive a full refund, within 14 days and receive 50% refund
- Cancellations made after 14 days or within 2 weeks of the event (whichever is sooner) will result in the loss of your deposit.
- If D’Vine Events must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, all deposits and payments made will be refunded in full.
- Prices
- We reserve the right to adjust our prices without prior notice.
- Once a deposit has been paid, the total order value is fixed and will not change.
- Quotes may change based on product availability or price changes until a deposit is received.
- Additional Charges
- Clients are responsible for any damage to or loss of equipment caused by misuse during the hire period.
- All props and equipment will be inspected at the end of service.
- Access & Additional Charges
- The Client must inform us if the event location involves stairs or is on an upper level without lift access.
- An additional £50 charge applies where access involves a flight of stairs which has not been made aware of prior to the event date. This must be paid in full on arrival before setup should we still be able to carry out our service/s without risk
- We reserve the right to refuse setup of certain equipment if, in our opinion, carrying items up or down stairs is unsafe due to heavy/large equipment
- No refunds will be issued if access restrictions or safety concerns prevent us from providing services, where we were not informed at the time of booking or at least 7 days prior to the event.
- Liability
- D’Vine Events accepts no responsibility for injuries, accidents, or damage to persons or property resulting from misuse of hire items by the Client or their guests.
- Customer Liability – Food & Allergens
- D’Vine Events cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions to food items (e.g., sweets, cakes, biscuits, popcorn).
- While our ingredients do not contain nuts, cross-contamination cannot be fully guaranteed. Clients must notify us in advance of any guest allergies.
- Children must be supervised at all times when consuming food items, as some products (e.g., popcorn) can pose a choking risk. D’Vine Events accepts no liability for incidents caused by lack of supervision.
- Marketing & Photography
- We reserve the right to take photographs of our setup at your event and use them for promotional and marketing purposes.
- Hygiene & Safety
- D’Vine Events staff are trained and certified to Catering Supervisor Standard, exceeding the legal requirements for service delivery.
- Hygiene and food safety are always our highest priority.
- Equipment Hire Disclaimer
- Anyone using our equipment without supervision does so at their own risk.
- The named Hirer is responsible for ensuring:
- Safe use of all equipment.
- The venue is suitable for our hire items.
- Guests are made aware of allergens.
- D’Vine Events will not be held responsible for injury, damage, or allergic reactions caused by misuse, unsafe behaviour, or failure to disclose relevant information.
- Acceptance of Terms
- By signing the booking form and/or paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
- Privacy Policy
- Any personal data provided will only be used for communication regarding your booking and our services.
- A full copy of our Privacy Policy is available on request.
